Mitsubishi UFJ Trust

Mitsubishi UFJ Trust

At Mitsubishi UFJ Trust (MUT) our team evaluated the network infrastructure for issues and improved optimization across client’s offices across 7 countries in 3 continents. Dyna Lync provided recommendations for improved business continuity, consolidated services and enhanced network and IT security. Dyna Lync successfully utilized the latest network diagnostic equipment to examine health of the network, package drops, pinpoint bottlenecks, potential bandwidth issues, and summarized overall network performance in a Network Health Assessment report. Based off the “NHA” our team deployed a solution at MUT to improve network performance, enhance network security, limit package drops and optimize VPN tunnel performance across all MUT locations. Dyna Lync also provided a comprehensive “Blueprint” to MUT for future implementation, deployment and growth & scalability of MUT’s IT Network. Technologies utilized on this project were Barracuda Firewalls, Cisco & Nortel Switches, Linux, Unix, and Windows Operating systems, MacAfee Antivirus, and various diagnostic tools such as Solarwinds, Cisco IP analyzer, and Sniffer.

manulife

Manulife

Dyna Lync was engaged to redesign the security network at Manulife’s Yonge and Yorkmills real estate holdings. Client had already purchased and deployed a Brocade solution, but were unhappy with the network performance due to downtime and bottlenecks. Dyna Lync performed a network audit, segmented the network, created a backup solution, implemented a WIFI solution and provided service redundancy. Manulife was pleased with Dyna Lync’s effort and Dyna Lync will be taking over the maintenance contract as of January 2017.

Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC)

Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) engaged Dyna Lync to assist in their modernization and transformation of their legacy IT security infrastructure to a current stage that provides a secure, robust, scalable and easily deployable solution. MPAC stipulated, due to legislative laws and compliance-related standards, the chosen solution had to adhere to the following controls: PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC2.

  • Based on Dyna Lync’s recommendation, their branded Secure IT Solution consisting of next-generation firewalls (Barracuda), were deployed to provide enhanced security and visibility for their networks.
  • McAfee’s monitoring solution was implemented to secure all their endpoints, including laptops, servers, printers, etc. As part of the solution, Dyna Lync recommended a full Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) solution and SOC1 compliant Security Operations Centre (SOC). McAfee has been a consistent leader holding a ranking of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for numerous years.
  • Dyna Lync also provided an encrypted data backup solution for the period of time required by regulators and auditors with a secure backup and cloud-based storage solution.
  • All the above solutions were serviced through a 24/7365 Security Operations Center (SOC).

DependableIT

Dyna Lync was engaged by DIT in response to a request by one of DIT’s client’s for an on-site audit to confirm PCI compliance/readiness and ensure that DIT met certain critical criteria set forth by DIT’s client.

Initially Dyna Lync performed an audit to gauge the gap assessment between PCI-DSS version 3.2 standards and DIT’s current standards. Dyna Lync deployed a CheckPoint solution in conjunction with “sniffer tools” on the network. Dyna Lync interviewed and documented all security and business processes as part of the audit. Over 400 tests were conducted within DIT’s environment on the following:

  • Building and maintaining a secure network
  • Protecting cardholder data
  • Maintaining a vulnerability management program
  • Implementing strong access control measures
  • Regularly monitoring and testing networks
  • Maintaining an information security policy

Gaps were identified and Dyna Lync prioritized the risks associated with the various gaps and set about remediating them. DIT’s client was very satisfied with the results and is currently the process of signing-off on the audit.
